Wacky Whakapapa Homework

On Monday the 17th of March we were assigned our homework for the week. That week we had to find out some information about our whakapapa (family). We had to type up our family tree and write down some interview questions and interview two people one of our parents and one of our grandparents  or someone around the same age. Here is what I found out:

What was school like in your day?	He found school very hard. He went to a catholic school where the teachers were nuns and he got hit daily by a bamboo stick.	It looked exactly like HNI. Teachers were allowed to hit naughty kids.Dental Nurse-Murder House. We played Netball and Aussie tag.  We didn’t have assemblies and didn’t get certificates when we did something well. We did school patrol. We also had to learn folk dancing.
What uniform did you have?	Black uniform Black boots Black shirt Black shorts	Primary School and Intermediate  were mufti and at collage , White shirt, grey skirt, black blazer, tie and a black hat.
Did you have any pets? What type of animal were they? What were their names?	Cats Dogs Ducks He can’t remember their names	3 cats- Nookie, Becky, Sarah 3 dogs-Amber, Timmy, Muldoon 1 blue budgie-Bluesmoke 1 mouse-Houdini
What sports did you play	Rugby,  Softball, Cricket and Boxing when he was older	Netball
